Rebecca Y. Zung-Clough, Esquire
[email protected]
Prior to founding the firm, Rebecca Zung-Clough practiced in Boca Raton, Florida and in Naples, Florida for the esteemed family law firm of Asbell and Ho, P.A. There she worked with large, complex high net-worth family law cases, and gained experience handling cases with unique issues such as international and domestic kidnapping, valuation of marital appreciation on large businesses and stock options, income valuation, family limited partnerships, trust valuation and mental incapacity with regard to divorce, and annulments. She was also actively involved in creating software program, Lawgic, for practitioners to aid in preparing marital settlement agreements; and prepared presentations for the Florida Chapter of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and for the Florida Family Board Certification Review Seminar.
Also possessing an extensive financial background, Rebecca has been a wealth strategist, stockbroker and financial advisor with the prestigious financial institutions, Northern Trust and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Nearly all family law cases have a financial component to them. Some cases require computations of what the nature of an individual’s true income is for alimony and child support, while others require complex business division skills. Rebecca’s distinctive background in both the legal and financial arenas brings her clients extraordinary expertise not found in any other practitioner in southwest Florida.
Rebecca is married to fellow attorney, John Clough, and they are the parents of four children. As a wife and mother, and having once been divorced herself, she understands the dynamics of the family and the emotional trauma that often accompanies a divorce or custody situation. She has the ability to communicate honestly about the possible outcome of a situation, and also knows how to balance the legal implications of a complex family litigation with the emotional concerns of the client.
